YOSEMITE HALF MARATHON – BASS LAKE
May 7th – 13.1 mile run through the Sierra National Forest to Recreation Point at Bass Lake. This is a fast, scenic course through the Sierra National Forest just outside Yosemite National Park! Enjoy a peaceful 5-mile run through the trees, a fast 5-mile descent, and a beautiful 3-mile loop around Bass Lake.

ACBS Northern CA/Lake Tahoe is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and education of antique and classic boats. One of 53 Chapters of the Antique & Classic Boat Society, Inc. based in New York state, they have several events each year in multiple locations in Northern California. LIGHT UP THE SKY – ANNUAL BASS LAKE FIREWORKS SHOW & BOAT PARADE
Mark your calendars for Madera County’s biggest firework show at Bass Lake. Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, the July 4th boat parade begins at 7 pm and the Fireworks Show starts around 9 pm. People line the beaches and make a day of being at the Lake for the celebration. Many hundreds of boats venture out at dusk to enjoy the show. There’s no substitute for being at the Lake in the cool night air among the trees and the water when the show begins. See the sparkle and feel the boom and hear it echo.
